We arrived in Telluride Colorado on Friday September 10, 2010, exactly one year to the day before we will be getting married. The weather in Telluride that weekend was incredible. Blue skys, warm weather, no precipitation, just fabulous weather for a wedding weekend.
That said, the owner of the ranch said to plan on it raining. This is an outdoor location.
Rule 1: No heels.
This will just complicate matters and make you sad. Don't be sad. Be glad you wore appropriate footwear for an outdoor location in the mountains.
This is a non-formal occasion.
Rule 2: No tuxes.
Again we are outdoors, no need to get your expensive clothes dirty, and no need to rent expensive clothes if you don't already own them.
Come as you are, no more formal than business attire. Keep in mind that we are in a western locale so western attire is also welcome. Carpe diem!
Our wedding color theme is Red, Creme, and Gold, but don't feel that you need to wear clothing to match this.
